Ningbo ETDZ Import and Export Corp. is a invested and restructured corporation of former Ningbo Economic and Technical Development Zone Import and Export Corporation. Founded in 1986, the company has been ranked among ¡°China 500 largest import and export enterprises¡± and ¡°Ningbo 20 important export enterprises¡± for consecutive years. In 2004, the total foreign currency earned by the company is 105,080,000 U.S.Dollars, including 94,720,000 U.S.Dollars for export, and 10,360,000 U.S.Dollars for import. With the continual strengthening, it increased the registered capital on January, 2005.
The business scope includes importing & exporting business, samples processing, components assemble and compensation trade as well as processing with supplied and imported materials. In addition, it not only acts as the import and export agent of various kinds of commodities and technology but also undertakes counter trade and entrepot trade. The main products contain textile, garments (including habilatory fittings and high-grade children¡¯s garments, footwear), arts & crafts, household commodities (including bath items), machinery (various plastics injection molding machines), electronic products, automobile fittings (all types of alloy wheels) and groceries etc., and are mainly exported to countries and areas like America, European Union, Japan, Eest and South Asia, Middle East£¬South America and Africa etc.
The corporation has set up general manager office, finance department, document department, 11 numbers of Import & Export sales department, one Import department and one E-business department. Moreover, it has three productive investment enterprises (including costume, auto parts and rubberplastics foam and its products) and has established the Brazilian Ningbo trade center in Brazil.
To fit in with the international business environment after joining the WTO, our company was granted a quality system certificate in year 2001, with an improved administration level and better customer service as well as a Quality System Certificate under ISO 9001:2000 standard, an Environmental Management System Certificate under ISO14001:1996 standard, an Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate under OHSAS18001:1999 standard in year 2004.
